Position Summary

The IT Data Analyst, as part of the Aramark Enterprise IT team, will provide support to Supply Chain Management and Finance groups by performing routine and project-based data quality exercises. At the direction of IT and business leadership, the IT Data Analyst will lead efforts to define and implement solutions that address data quality issues and new or revised standards. These activities will ensure high quality and resilient data exchange between back office systems and well as with trade vendors, partner organizations, customers, and IT service providers.



Provide ongoing analysis of data quality and consistency across various Aramark application and data warehouse environments. Establish and monitor data quality and operational KPIs at the direction of IT and business leadership teams. Define and execute action plans to address data issues and opportunities by working within matrixed project and support teams.


Support project implementation teams as needed through data quality analysis and reconciliation activities. Support systems data conversion efforts with planning, design, and testing support. Develop and document testing strategies and test cases/scripts in support of project and SDLC activities.


Provide direct business support for data extracts, one-off report requests, and comparative analysis.


Work as needed with Aramark’s vendors and partners, including their IT support staff, in order to troubleshoot, refine, or establish new data integration jobs:

  • Inform and advise trade vendors of Aramark’s integration requirements and standards
  • Perform quality analysis of external partner data
  • Coordinate with external partners to address data quality issues or opportunities


Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting of established data integrations:

  • Extract and analyze error information
  • Coordinate reprocessing and/or resubmission of failed data integration routines
  • Escalate critical job failures to internal staff and/or consultant teams as necessary


Provide ongoing status updates to project management and leadership teams.





The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4-7 years of experience in a data-intensive business environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively with diverse teams of employees, contractors, and external partners to define and deliver results.
  • Ability to perform tasks independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong working knowledge of relational database and data warehousing concepts with prior exposure to at least one enterprise-class platform (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.)
  • Strong SQL authoring skills
  • Experience with general programming/scripting and batch processing techniques
  • General experience with Microsoft operating systems, servers, Office applications, enterprise applications and services
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/IS discipline or related work experience
  • Experience with EDI standards, development, or technologies is a plus
  • Experience in a supply chain, procurement, or finance setting is a plus
