This position is responsible for developing the strategy for the expansion and innovation of ecommerce solutions within Aramark's retail division at Colonial Williamsburg including managing and operating the division's ecommerce site and the digital tools and tactics that accompany them. The eCommerce Manager will collaborate with multi-functional groups to ensure that the evolving ecommerce platform is designed and delivered drives increased revenue, client retention and ease of execution. Position the brand and products in a way that maximizes revenue while also minimizing conflict/issues with the existing “brick and mortar” ordering experience.   This position will report to the Resident District Manager. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage re-design and user functionality of e-commerce and digital platforms with the goal of maximizing revenue and improving user experience.
  • Develops email marketing campaigns and digital tools such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to market the site.
  • Manager of day-to-day operations of ecommerce site
  • Review and analyze user experience data to inform site enhancements, review program performance and make adjustments to enable growth
  • Creation & maintenance of tools and training related to ecommerce
  • Manage 3rd party relationships, including google Ad Words
  • Implement targeted promotion strategies to segmented customer groups.
  • Track and manage initiatives to allocated budget and calendar.
  • Oversee the execution of the roadmap the development of enhanced ecommerce solutions that further enable growth. 
  • Works with the Product Development/Merchandising team to identify the optimal online product assortment, based on web/digital category performance and brand goals.  Oversees regular updates to ensure accurate inventory online.
  • Works with senior management to develop long range, sales and profitability plans for ecommerce/digital platforms.  Participate in the budgeting process, reviewing and assisting the establishment of sales and expenses.  Throughout the year, provide revised forecast numbers as needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Marketing
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience developing & implementing a successful eCommerce strategy in both the business to business and consumer product industries. 
  • Strong understanding of key Digital Marketing principles & activities (i.e. SEO/SEM, Acquisition, Conversion, Marketing Communication, Brand Message, etc.).
  • Excellent Project Management and Customer Facing skills with proven experience directing change.
  • Must have experience or a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment within a heavily matrixed organization.
  • Strong communication skills will include: oral communication, presentation and influencing, as well as the ability to communicate with all levels in and out of the organization.
  • This position requires solid strategic, analytical, and decision-making experience.
