Associate in Lexington, Kentucky.


The Credit Tax Associate position is responsible for investigating customers’ tax exemption information, ensuring documentation is accurate and current to support Use Tax Exemption.  Assists leadership in ensuring company liability is minimized in the event of a tax audit.  Maintains Tax records as related to customer accounts.




  • Assess customer tax liability.
  • Review Tax Exemption documentation for customers.
  • Process tax adjustments as necessary.
  • Update customer accounts for tax exempt status.
  • Answers customer inquiries regarding tax.
  • Work with corporate tax department to facilitate State Tax Audits.
  • Assist supervisor in approving credit for minor accounts.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.





High School Diploma or Equivalent.



  • 2 + years of credit/collections experience.


  • Detail oriented with attention to accuracy.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Requires basic knowledge of office procedures. 
  • Familiar with general office equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and PHAST a plus


No special physical requirements for this position.  Position is situated in an office environment.
