    Job Title: Uniform Room Attendant       


    Reports to: Human Resource Manager


    Job purpose: Support the uniform room function to assist WSCC and Aramark employees.


    Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

    1. Assists Aramark and WSCC employees with uniforms – 90% of employees wear uniforms
    2. Ensure the following daily duties are completed successfully
      1. Process dirty laundry to appropriate vendors and record counts
      2. Check in Blue Sky’s, Aramark’s and National Dry Cleaners items and put away in appropriate location
      3. Hand out and document “Good Show Treats”
      4. Distribute and document WSCC accessories
      5. Research lost items as needed
      6. Run “all out” Blue Sky’s, Aramark and National Dry Cleaners reports as needed.
      7. Issuing radios preform daily radio checks
      8. Stage AM and PM uniforms as needed.
      9. Simple repairs of uniforms
      10. Conduct new hire orientations
    3. Ensure the following weekly duties are completed successfully
      1. Review “All out to badge” Aramark, National & WSCC reports
      2. Enter new items into binder spreadsheets
      3. Enter “deleted” items into replacement spreadsheet
      4. Process Blue Sky, Aramark and National Dry Cleaners Laundry
      5. Process Aramark and WSCC inventory as requested by supervisor
      6. Distribute Aramark paychecks
    4. Ensure the following monthly duties are completed successfully
      1. Perform a monthly audit for damaged clothes and termed employees
      2. Check personal and uniform lockers to ensure they are assigned to current employees
      3. Distribute and document Orca vouchers
      4. Update Checkmate new hires, correct misspelled names, termed employees, etc.
      5. Update and print bar code list.
      6. Complete projects as assigned by Uniform Room Supervisor
      7. Complete projects as assigned by HR Manager
      8. Assist with employee communication efforts and recognition programs
      9. Maintain a tidy work area


    Working Conditions:

    Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time, moderate to heavy lifting, bending and stooping.  May be required to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and overtime.



    Required Qualifications:

    • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
    • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
    • Excellent communication skills, organization skills and attention to detail


    Desired Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 2 - 3 years work experience in food service
    • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time


    Work Environment: Unit offices, back-of-house, and other locations on campus.
