    Description

    The Project Lead manages all stages of the project life cycle including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing.  This role manages enterprise and business unit specific projects to achieve internal and external initiatives under tight deadlines.  Will require strategic mindset, strong project management discipline, excellent communication abilities, analytical skills, motivation, and creativity.  Must have demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders to develop, lead, and execute account strategies.

    The Project Lead will also conduct research and basic level analytics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, account diagnostics, program development and enhancement, engagement planning, relationship analysis, coaching of stakeholders, formalized client communications, support of proposal development, and client presentations.

     

    This position exercises a sophisticated level of business acumen / savvy, organization, multi-tasking and project leadership skills.  Is responsible for enabling systematic solutions across the portfolio, tailoring them based on mutually beneficial strategic considerations.  Be seen as an operational expert and as a technical advisor for operational programs and processes. 

     

    Responsible for the design, implementation and execution of the following activities:

    • Drive strategic initiatives in conjunction with Line of Business and functional stakeholders to deliver significant financial impact to the organization
    • Escalating concerns that would affect timing and end result. Establishes self as a thought-partner through strategic insight and effective communication skills
    • Develop and manage complex projects focused on growth and retention efforts. Ensure expectations are clearly identified and met throughout the process, maintain constant communication and reporting in order to foster an environment of transparency and suppor
    • Collaborate with functional groups and other stakeholders to identify necessary resources and ensure appropriate engagement and support throughout project
    • Gather and document feedback on the programs and processes to ensure changes are deliberate and effective
    • Ensure we are performing a standardized approach and methodologies to repeatable programs and processes
    • Prepare rigorous project plans, with special focus on timing, deliverables, and task
    • Develop analytical work and fact based data to support recommendations on better, more efficient projects/programs
    • Effectively use deliberate influence strategies to impact, shape, or re-direct the behaviors of others, without formal authority
    • Support the client decision journey, using a critical eye for detail, analytical project management approach and adhering to multiple tight deadlines
    • Provide and manage the design, development and implementation of complex analysis and review / assess analytical / comparative reports.
    • Open to feedback and identifies new ways to analyze data, employ benchmarking, trend analysis, quality assurance, and other analytical techniques to continuously improve processes and results.
    • Research, prepare and present written and oral reports. Periodically conduct ad hoc research, and develop and present reports to communicate insights and implications from analysis to assist in the development of growth acceleration strategies.

    • This role requires an individual who is interested in more than executing someone else’s good idea. They need to bring and identify ways to improve our processes and systems to add value and efficiency.  This includes receiving feedback and identifying new ways of analyzing data, employing benchmarks, and performing trend analysis, quality assurance, and other analytical techniques. 

    Qualifications

    Qualifications Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree required. College degree in a related field recommended.
    • Strong computer skills (intermediate to advanced levels) including Microsoft Office and online project management software. Solid organization and well-honed ability to multi-task and prioritize.
    • Strong communication skills: oral, written, presentation, and the capability to handle ambiguity whilst coping with change. Desire to participate in discussions and gain exposure with numerous constituents
    • Strong interpersonal skills, a self-starter, confident in his/her abilities, self-motivated and thrives on both functioning independently and in a team environment, working effectively with little supervision; and detail oriented with the ability to effectively manage people without formal influence.
    • Previous large volume operational experience in the Higher Education, K-12, Facilities or Healthcare market, with operational vision and passion for standardized process and systems.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience understanding client relationship building, managing business performance, sales strategy, managing tight deadlines and effectively interfacing with all levels of a corporation.
    • Perseverance and the skills to problem solve analytically, statically and conceptually with a sense of urgency to drive many-faceted and multi-tiered projects to a successful conclusion in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to translate and communicate raw data, statistical, analytical results, implications and recommendations into clear written and verbal communication/information.
