    The International Business Relationship Manager and Digital Lead is responsible for owning the strategy and alignment between the Aramark IT organization and the functional business units to ensure the IT organization delivers maximum business value. These business units are international in nature, and this role will manage those relationships accordingly.


    This role is also responsible for defining the international digital strategy to enhance the customer experience by digitizing business processes and integrating them across Aramark products and platforms. This role will work alongside marketing, brand and IT executives, and will play a role in shaping the creation of customer-centric products meant to enhance internal and external stakeholder experiences in international markets.


    Core Job Duties/Responsibilities

    • Leadership – Provide guidance and direction to the international businesses to align the enterprise IT strategy with the needs of the international businesses, including digital objectives. Providing balance and achievement their AOP business goals with key pieces the IT enterprise strategy that fit in their portfolio of businesses.
    • Client Relationship – Engage the international markets to understand business sector strategies and the role the business plays in the Aramark portfolio. Provide guidance on IT enterprise strategies against the business portfolios with investment levels. Partner with marketing, brand and communications resources on content development and to align with brand positioning.
    • Financial Performance – Provide transparency across the business as it pertains to IT investments, enterprise initiatives and key leading indicators to ensure that the CFO/President(s) are seeing the ROI on their IT investments. Help business units develop and integrate investment projects and multiyear plans with IT.
    • Compliance – Ensure the international IT team is educated and advised on IT program compliance as well as engaging our clients to discuss our compliance strategies and future roadmaps as needed.
    • Productivity – Align IT enterprise strategies against business productivity programs to assist in our margin expansion. Help define and align, as appropriate, the business process and digital platform strategy and be responsible for envisioning and delivering an integrated and seamless digital customer experience across web, tablet, mobile, and voice. The digital capabilities will also facilitate the enhancement of emerging channels, businesses, processes, and products.

    Additional Position Duties/Responsibilities

    • Align the Aramark business portfolio and the IT enterprise agenda ensuring business leaders are engaged on the vision, strategy and execution.
    • Create a client centric approach to the business by developing high performing business relationships to drive profitable growth and improve margin.
    • Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including current and evolving technologies and prices. Advise, counsel, and educate senior level executives on IT vision and strategy as needed.
    • Develop and enhance relationships with key business stakeholders, actively manage their expectations & monitor satisfaction levels.
    • Collaborate with Aramark advanced data analytics capabilities. Partnering with individuals within the business units, the data analytics team will provide high quality, actionable insights to the enterprise and its business units enabling Aramark to enhance its overall customer experience, improve efficiency, and drive profitable growth.



    Core Job Qualifications

    • Experience – 10+ Years’ experience in a large, matrix enterprise environment. Experience in advisory leadership across multiple international businesses. Participation in customer-centric transformation to include but not limited to:
    • Digital transformation of front and back offices
    • Strategic use of data analytics and insights
    • Collaboration with business unit leaders, operations, marketing, and technology teams


    Education – Bachelor’s degree required; technical focus preferred.


    Impact – Experience leading a COE or business function for a large multinational enterprise.  Leading IT overall for a company outside the fortune 1000.  Has led or been responsible for digital strategies, advanced data analytics, and the development of actionable strategic insights. Multi-channel integration experience with demonstrated success leveraging channel activities into a tailored user experience.


    Complexity - Complete understanding of the services in our business portfolio as well as how technology enables growth and margin expansion across international business that are at various stages of growth.  10+ years in a large complex enterprise business structure that offers a portfolio of businesses. Successful in influencing across a large, complex, and highly-matrixed organization with and without direct authority.


    Communication – Ability to present and interface with the top levels of a large complex organization.  2-3+ years in role that handles communication to clients and senior executives.  Experience in communicating with different international businesses and cultures.


    Knowledge – Understand financial models, contract types, business portfolio structure and complexities that arise from a client focused organization. Strong strategic marketing competency.


    Leadership – Ability to lead a team of distributed IT leaders in a matrixed organization aligning business goals with the overall Aramark IT vision and strategy.


    Judgement – Ability to make IT business decisions applicable to an international market that balance risk and benefit both customer, clients and Aramark shareholders.



    Additonal Qualifications: 

    • B2B, B2C, B2B2C, and intermediated experience from a variety of potential industries. Some experience in financial services (e.g., credit cards, banking, retirement, personal insurance, brokerage, etc.) would be preferred
    • Expertise in non-traditional channels, emerging technologies, and web-site operations
    • Strong, in-depth understanding of current market trends and the competitive landscape
    • Familiarity with tools, metrics, and performance indicators to measure performance and to benchmark results
    • Experience building and leading high performing teams


    Travel Requirements:

    Qualified candidates must be able to travel on average 50% of the time internationally
