    The Entry-level / Jr. Facilities Manager is responsible for directing the Facilities Management for a unit including engineering, maintenance, custodial, budgeting labor, supplies, equipment and related services/materials required for cost effective operations.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and be accountable for a safety culture that creates a work environment where no one gets hurt.
    • Assist in communication with client.
    • Oversee Maintenance, Custodial, and operations, if applicable. Use Program Audit to constantly upgrade, update, and enhance best practices in Facility Management.
    • Creating, Scheduling, Review work orders and specifications to determine material and labor to complete the project.
    • Assist in coordinating the activities of employees in service areas to ensure the effective and efficient utilization of staff, materials, and equipment.
    • Tour and inspect the facility to ensure total quality management requirements in maintenance, custodial and operations.
    • Ensure compliance with all OSHA/EPA regulations and other local, state, and federal government regulations.
    • Respond to the requests of the client.
    • Utilize Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and ensures data is accurate while ensuring that communications is taking place with all requestors.
    • Develop and deliver training programs on facilities management functions.
    • Keep management constantly informed of new trends, developments and regulations within the field of FM.
    • Attend company relating training programs as identified.
    • Assist the Facility Manager in project management activities.


    • Requires at least 3 years experience and up to 2 years in a management role
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
