    Description

    We are currently seeking a Front of House Operations Manager for Lake Tahoe Cruises.

    • Oversee the Lake Tahoe Cruises 
    • Supervision of supervisors and a team of 15-40 employees
    • Lead customer service training and follow up to ensure the high levels of guest service standards to achieve customer satisfaction and return business
    • Audits service and quality on a regular basis
    • Work closely with the Executive Chef, Operations Manager of the boats and other Managers to understanding of client and partner relations
    • Provides timely and accurate financial information to the General Manager, Operations Manager and Stakeholders
    • Develop and achieve planned sales, gross margin, profit and shortage goals
    • Controls costs by adhering to operational standards for forecasting, budgeting, scheduling and payroll for all locations and have financial acumen
    • Collaborate with the Executive Chef & Culinary partner in the development, implementation, and execution of seasonal menu changes
    • Manages and delivers procedures and methods to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained
    • Builds, develops and manages Food and Beverage Front of House team capable of carrying out needed F&B/Culinary initiatives
    • Ensures compliance of corporate and state mandates, to include cost and productivity, and employee relations
    • Ensures that requirements for appropriate sanitation and safety levels in respective areas are met
    • Is responsible for recruitment, hiring, corrective counseling, performance reviews and initiating pay increases
    • Conducts period inventory; performs other functions such as maintaining records to comply with Aramark government and accrediting agency standards
    • Coordinates activities with other internal departments
    • Participates in management team meetings
    • Interfaces with Vendors and key service users within client organization
    • Assists in location forecast and accounting
    • Implement new sales strategies and programs to generate revenue
    • Develop cross-selling programs for F&B staff to sell other departments

     

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred. 
    • A minimum of 3-5 years food service management experience is required.
    • 2 years’ experience managing Supervisors who engage in Guest/Customer and Client relations
    • Ability to manage in a fast-paced, diverse environment with focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship and building and growing a strong business is essential. 
    • P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
    • Union experience preferred
    • Candidate must be willing to be hands on with staff and operations and be willing to work event-based hours that include evenings and weekends.
