    Description

    SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    As a member of the Supply Chain Program Management and Sourcing team, the Senior Analytics Analyst is responsible for the formulation and delivery of analytical services to support strategic supply chain programs.

    The Senior Analyst establishes best practice analytics capabilities to develop and execute reports, KPIs and scorecards to define and measure performance and provide insights to key stakeholders to drive financial value.

    This position is based in Philadelphia, PA.  

    Specific Responsibilities of the Senior Analytics Analyst are to:

    • Build reporting function to track key metrics including program savings, compliance, and supplier performance.
    • Enhance solutions for scalability and translating large data sets into actions.
    • Identify relevant data to help tell “The Story” and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders to achieve greater impact.
    • Execute reporting within agreed time, scope, and quality to enable key programs to deliver on the business case benefits, budget and timescales.
    • Develop methodology for sample analysis and application of sample results to large scale projections.
    • Perform trend analysis, predictive analytics and data mining to provide actionable insights that inform strategic and tactical decisions and lead to improved business results.
    • Identify and generate ad-hoc analysis to drive short-term strategies.  Partner with cross-functional resources to define analytics and insights requirements and measure outcomes.
    • Recommend key enablers including business process, organizational and technology.

     

     

    Qualifications

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • 4-6 years’ experience in an analytical function preferred.
    • Superior analytical ability and spreadsheet modeling skills are required. 
    • Excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to interface with multiple levels of management are essential. 
    • Strong organizational, project management and time management skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate findings, analysis, implications, and recommendations to varied stakeholder audiences
    • Must be able to problem solve and adjust priorities with little advance notice to meet deadlines and requests.
    • Extensive experience with the Microsoft Office package, specifically a high level of proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
    • Ability to program in SQL or related language as well as experience in developing in BI Tools (Ex. Qlikview, Tableau) a plus
    • Position requires good interpersonal and communication skills, sound judgment and ability to learn quickly; ability to adapt to new situations and interface with senior management. 
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Procurement or supply chain experience is a plus.
    • Experience in Source to Pay implementation (SAP/Ariba, Zycus, etc.) is a plus.
    • Ability to work within a matrix environment, build strong cross-functional and cross-regional relationships.
    • Must demonstrate leadership and influencing potential.

      Office based.

     

    EDUCATION:

     

    A Bachelor’s degree is required. A MBA or Masters is a plus.
