    As part of the Sports & Entertainment Insights and Analytics team, the Business Intelligence Developer will support the business strategy by providing support and development work on major analytical initiatives.  In this new role, the individual will support the design and implementation of short and long term strategies and tactics to develop analytics platforms to support the business that enable an insights/analytics-driven decision making process.  This individual will provide development support, analyze data structures and assist the creation of reporting of consumer facing initiatives within S&E that support management decisions and strategy development.


    This individual will work collaboratively across numerous functions, including the Operations, Finance, and Information Technology.

    The key responsibilities of the position include:

    • Support the design and development of analytical platforms intended to understand key business levers to drive consumer engagement, satisfaction and loyalty to create demand and accelerate revenue growth as well as identify opportunities to improve in operational efficiencies.
    • Leverages existing data warehouses to support development of business intelligence reports and objects that enable the Sports & Entertainment Business Unit’s strategy
    • Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of reporting server to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of data and analysis
    • Support data science initiatives and assist in implementation of new data analysis into existing platforms and/or assist in developing new applications for distribution to wide audiences
    • Explore new data connections and assist in mapping new data to existing data models and repositories
    • Work collaboratively with data stakeholders and other team members to execute analytical initiatives



    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Database Management, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field
    • Must have demonstrated familiarity working with business intelligence tools (e.g. QlikView, Tableau, etc.)
    • Ability to program in SQL required with demonstrated prior work, with experience/exposure to task automation and creation
    • Ability to work with large transactional databases across multiple platforms
    • Experience and/or relevant coursework in data mining and building data models, including ETL processes
    • Demonstrate initiative in identifying issue areas and suggestions for improvement
    • Work independently, and with sometimes minimal guidance, yet collaboratively within S&E and other enterprise functional areas
    • Strong organizational, project management and time management skills
    • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated ability to solve problems
    • Exposure to R a plus
    • Any programming (e.g. Java, VBA, C#, Python) experience a plus
    • Ability to present complicated analytical material in a concise and compelling manner
    • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as: Excel, PowerPoint and Access
