    The Position

    Reporting to the National Director, Energy the Power & Energy (boiler and chiller) Plant Specialist will be responsible for the leadership, management, and development of our clients’ power and energy plants. The Power & Energy Team will interact with all Engineering Solutions’ Directors as well as senior facility leadership on an as-needed basis. This position will be flexible in need and may be asked to support the evaluation of Central Plant Operations, Identify how to create a Best Practices Solution for these Plant Operators, provide formal and informal plant training and/or strategic planning to optimize our client’s power and energy plant maintenance and operations needs

     

    This position will be responsible for strengthening our clients’ power and energy plant operations as needed to help fulfill our long-term strategic goals to maximize their operations.

     

    The Ideal Candidate

    Aramark seeks a candidate with strong leadership and execution skills. This individual is an expert in the power & energy plants, particularly with district/central energy systems. The candidate must possess strategic and operations-based knowledge with the ability to work closely with our clients’ staff to successfully manage assigned responsibilities, guide the firm in the management of potential future opportunities, and work collaboratively within the existing culture. The successful individual will have strong industry experience and a proven record of evaluating and optimizing plant operations using a Best Practices approach.

    • Industry Experience
      • 15+ years in the plant operations marketplace with a focus on power and energy (boiler and chiller)  plants with sizable district energy systems
      • Strong industry credibility
      • Proven history of managing successful power and energy plants
      • Understand the meaning of Plant Operating and Maintenance Best Practices
      • Expertise in boiler control systems

     

    • Education/Training/Computer Skills
      • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in engineering
      • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Drop Box, CAD, Revit
