    Description

    As an Accountant, you will be part of a Central Accounting team responsible for general accounting and analysis across the portfolio. You will perform a variety of routine and some non-routine accounting functions with significant responsibility for the month end close process, contract compliance, SOX Key Controls and account analysis.

    Some other specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Assisting with the month end close process
    • Analyzing general ledger accounts to ensure activity complies with company policy
    • Ensuring contract compliance
    • SOX compliance testing
    • Perform ad hoc projects as requested

    Qualifications

    • BS degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 1-2 years progressive accounting experience preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft Applications – Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical abilities and organizational skills are essential to success in this position along with the ability to multi-task
    • Ability to work with various levels of management and to influence others without formal authority
