    The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of banquet staff and captains to include training, coaching and discipline. The banquet supervisor works with the Banquet Manager to train staff and increase efficiency.


    JOB DUTIES: (including but not limited to)


    • In conjunction with Banquet Manager, develop and maintain policies, procedures, and quality standards within the department, utilize a continuous improvement approach to ensure a high quality, cost-effective, and customer-focused operations
    • In conjunction with Banquet Manager, develop training plans to ensure a high-quality presentation and level of member service within the banquet service staffs
    • Ensure Banquet Staff is properly trained and in proper uniform
    • Give daily support and guidance to fellow banquet personnel, and monitor job performance and attendance
    • Inspect and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all function space, public areas, and service areas on all banquet levels and ensure functions have the proper inventory and setup.
    • Supervise clean-up of function room and proper breakdown and storage of equipment
    • Assist Servers and Captains with the execution of events.
    • Complete Captain's report after each meeting/event
    • Weekends and evenings will be required based on events
    • Additional duties as assigned

    • Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.



    • High school or equivalent education required
    • Previous catering sales experience within a hotel, country club or event center preferred
    • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
