    The Compliance Specialist is responsible for implementing strategies and activities required to maintain regulatory compliance. This position reports to the VP, Compliance.


    Job Duties:

    • Oversee and implement the Alcohol Mystery Shop Program including reporting, scheduling, field based support, and action planning.
    • Manage the day to day oversight of Non-Profit Organization program including reporting, updating guidelines, on-going field based training, and gap analysis.
    • Assist in updating compliance program policies and programs and participate in the continued enhancement of ongoing compliance program initiatives and projects
    • Manage and assist with assigned field compliance projects and activities, including updating of policies, training, compliance reporting, communications, and review, analysis and triage of information.
    • Coordinate compliance efforts with appropriate functional staff and field based operators to ensure implementation and compliance.
    • Conduct field evaluations through site visits of current compliance processes and programs to ensure execution and closed-loop process.
    • Develop subject matter expertise in certain areas as assigned, and provide guidance and auditing assistance as needed.
    • Conduct research, abstracting information and supporting data, and helping prepare relevant materials in preparation for meetings, projects, compliance reports and other presentations
    • Other job duties as assigned, including support for the Government Affairs Compliance  



    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • 1-3 years of relevant experience in compliance, analytics, and/or project management


    • Strong organizational, time management and leadership skills
    • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively (written or oral) with functional groups, LOB Leadership and Field Operations
    • Good judgment and the ability to work and think independently
    • Ability to respond effectively to changing demands and prioritize work load with a can do attitude
    • Willingly accepts additional responsibility, challenging tasks, and/or projects.
    • Responsive and client-service focused team player
    • Professionalism and discretion when provided access to confidential and sensitive information
    • P&L accountability and/or contract managed service experience is desirable
    • Flexibility for event-based hours, which may include nights and weekends
    • Valid driver’s license preferred
    • Fully proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; proficiency in Salesforce applications (such as RisKonnect), Cognos or other business intelligence applications a plus.
