    Position Summary:


    The Director of Financial Reporting will oversee operational and statutory Financial Reporting for the Aramark Uniform segment of Aramark Corporation.   The Director will lead financial process improvement initiatives, implement industry best practices, and develop metrics for measuring effectiveness and efficiency while meeting the business objectives.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage processes, capturing, maintaining, and reporting accurate financial data. Ensure that the monthly/quarterly financial statements are prepared in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements, meeting established deadlines while comparing results to prior year, plan, and or forecast.
    • Liaison between Financial Reporting and other departments, including Aramark Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Field Finance and the various users of financial data.  Communicate actual results clearly, support actual to projection review, and modify reporting as needed to incorporate business changes.
    • Overall owner of the monthly close. Escalate issues as needed.  Business owner for Oracle GL module and for Hyperion Reporting cube.
    • Analyse complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
    • Oversee monthly and quarterly business reporting, including coordination and analysis of Market Centers (MC) reports and all related financial reporting needs.
    • Control owner for multiple SOX key controls and processes. Assist in assessing and identify compliance related controls, standards, and risk-mitigation in order to meet annual audit requirements.  Support statutory audit of AUS. 
    • Analyse and lead AUS adoption of new accounting pronouncements.
    • Drive business process improvements that support operational excellence, growth, and other key strategic initiatives. 




    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    •  Proven ability to implement processes, controls, metrics, governance, risk-mitigation, and compliance standards related to financial reporting and accounting initiatives.
    • Excellent communication skills in order to communicate and deliver presentations, and work with company executives.
    • Proven ability to identify and recruit good people and create a productive environment that promotes initiative, innovation, continual learning and development of key personnel for future advancement. A leader who can motivate and manage teams.
    • Strategic thinker with a commitment to provide superior customer service to internal and external customers.
    • Strong technical skills, including experience working with large ERP environments, and financial reporting technologies. 


    • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
    • CPA preferred 


    • 10 or more years of experience leading finance and/or accounting teams with oversight for financial reporting and management.
    • Proven leadership, team building, development and motivation of large cross functional teams.
