    The Instructional Design Sr. Specialist creates and delivers effective learning solutions for targeted audiences within or across functional areas of Aramark. This role collaborates closely with subject matter experts and other learning specialists to develop learning materials that support enhanced job performance. 

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop effective learning strategies and solutions that include eLearning virtual instructor-led training, classroom and performance support tools such as job aids and guides.
    • Work with internal clients to define learning objectives and create content outlines and storyboards to guide the development of learning content.
    • Follow Aramark design and branding guidelines to create engaging, high-quality learning materials.
    • Design and develop learning activities, knowledge checks, and pre/post assessments that enhance learning retention.
    • Work with internal clients to help determine the best learning solution based on the business need.
    • Update existing eLearning courses, including recommendations to make the training more engaging and up-to-date.
    • Proficiency with authoring tools to create eLearning courses, micro-learning modules, simulations, video, audio, and engaging visuals.
    • Manage review/approval processes.
    • Stay abreast of new trends and tools in learning and development. 

    Project Management Skills:

    • Ability to estimate time necessary to develop and deliver learning solutions.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Partner with external vendors as needed.
    • Achieve project milestones/end results.
    • Monitor and communicate status of work in progress; alert stakeholders to potential risks and conflicts.



    Requirements Include:

    • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience in learning & development, which includes experience designing and delivering high impact learning solutions. 
    • Experience designing and developing eLearning courses from start to finish.
    • Experience working with and managing internal clients.
    • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. 
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
