    Position Summary:

    The Business Process Manager (BPM) will drive strategic projects and process improvement efforts through the full project cycle, managing multi-disciplinary teams for Aramark’s Finance Project Management Office (PMO).  He/She is responsible for working with all levels of the organization, juggling multiple priorities, communicating project plans, creating and reporting out project status and identifying and raising any issues/risks to the project.  In addition, the BPM will mentor and help develop other team members.  The BPM will utilize project planning tools such as MS Project, Excel, Sharepoint and other project tracking utilities.  This position reports into the Director of Finance PMO and will work on projects across the Aramark Finance Department (will require some travel).

    The BPM will apply his/her knowledge and skills to a range of activities; compose and facilitate the overall timelines utilizing project management methodology and deliverables. This position exemplifies strong relationship building skills and a comfort working with all levels in an organization.  In addition, strong analytical and problem solving skills and a proven track record of consistent project completion are a must. 


    Essential Functions:    

    • Drive for Results: Anticipate needs to accelerate project deliverables; capable of identifying and removing obstacles to change; complete projects on time, within scope and budget.
    • Manage courageously: Ability and comfort interacting with all levels of an organization; lead and work with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and operational improvement initiatives.
    • Simplifies the Agenda: Communicate project plans and routine updates on project status and issues/risks to the project team, stakeholders and management utilizing project planning tools such as MS Project and other project tracking utilities.
    • Ability to multi-task and support multiple priorities / multiple deliverables simultaneously
    • Proven track record of managed delivery with consistent timeliness and quality outcomes
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Report and communicate project successes, risks, and status to leadership and stakeholders
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with peers, cross functional teams, vendors and management using exceptional interpersonal skills
    • Gather and analyze data from multiple sources; develop reports and key risk indicators.
    • Facilitate discussions, conduct meetings and drive initiatives and issues to conclusion
    • Consult with stakeholders to gather and document requirements and specifications for solutions and enhancements
    • Performing sophisticated analysis and data modeling to support the planning, design, development, and delivery of continuous improvement and performance initiatives
    • Provide updates to business leadership regarding business analysis deliverables


    Required Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
    • Minimum 5 years demonstrated project management experience in large, multi-functional organization; Accounting & Finance experience a plus
    • Extensive project management experience and proven skill to ensure that project objectives and goals are met within agreed upon time, scope, resource, budget and quality requirements
    • Formal PM training and/or Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
    • Excellent aptitude and adoption of technology tools to facilitate efficiency
    • Experience directing the work of others and coordinate diverse cross functional teams
    • Ability to lead and function effectively on a work team
    • Ability to quickly comprehend requirements and transform them into project tasks/deliverables
    • Ability to quickly establish effective professional working relationships
    • Must be able to work under tight timelines and have excellent organization and time management skills for managing multiple, diverse, and conflicting activities
    • Ability to create a variety of documentation and communications
    • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
    • Ability to cope with change and work effectively in a matrixed and fast-paced environment
    • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
    • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
    • May require non-standard work hours & some travel
