    The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure the overall expansion and success of Avendra’s growth in the Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) market segment. This role will focus on building and leading a successful channel sales model in the MRO area.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Developing the road map and leading efforts to manage the day-to-day relationship with a sales channel partner to deliver on key strategic goals, including managing key objectives such as, streamlining sales process/onboarding timelines and increasing supplier usage and overall spend with current customers
    • Working across departments (sales, marketing, legal, implementation, account management, sourcing, etc.) to define and implement new ideas on value proposition, process improvements, new contract development, sales acceleration, etc.
    • Developing and refining an understanding of customers' most important needs and leading winning value proposition development initiatives and spend capture strategies
    • Managing senior level internal and external relationships
    • Managing subject matter experts and external partners effectively and efficiently
    • Developing business to meet revenue goals – managing and helping to close complex customer deals, while also defining and managing a scalable process to drive business in small and medium-sized enterprises
    • Leverage technology to streamline and automate business processes


    Requirements for the role:

    • BS/BA in relevant field or equivalent years' experienceAt least 10 years of experience in business development, market strategy or operations
    • Experience in the Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) industry
    • Demonstrated experience in outlining market entry approaches, modeling financial outcomes, improving existing processes through technology and managing business through the legal checkpoints
    • Operational experience, including success using technology to streamline and automate business processes
    • Experience in developing strong relationships within and outside of the organization
    • Self-starter that can figure out what needs to be done and executes
    • Ability to solve problems in a proactive manner
    • Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated organizational skills, flexibility, assertiveness and team orientation
