    Description

    The Associate Developer will be working with senior developers and analysts on maintenance and enhancements of our implemented and planned Oracle application modules.  The modules include various financial, inventory and pricing custom built applications.   The position will support by reviewing existing code and resolving issues that arise in the production system. In addition, the associate developer will work in a team environment that is collaborative in performing technical analysis and develop new system initiatives.

     

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Assist with the development of technical design or system specification documentation.
    • Support Business / Functional Analysts to understand business problems and develop technical solutions.
    • Apply structured design and structured programming techniques to assigned tasks.
    • Develop task /project estimates, and project schedules.
    • Develop unit test cases and unit test plans, conduct unit testing activities.
    • Initiate contact with internal business organizations as well as external organizations as needed.
    • Provide application software / maintenance support.
    • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the activities enumerated above.
    • Adhere to departmental standards, processes, guidelines, and methodologies for all assigned tasks.

    Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    • Strong Technical / Analytical skills
    • Any programming experience through coursework
    • Desire to be a software developer

     

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and have graduated after December 2017. 

     

     

    EXPERIENCE:

    • Previous IT internship experience is a plus.
