    Description

     

    Senior Project Manager (SPM) or Integration Services Manager manages projects from inception through design, implementation, to closeout. This position is responsible to manage the work all lines of service ensuring a full hospitality model is implemented as one. The SPM is expected to have responsibility for directly managing all aspects of the integration model implemented for food, facilities and all other lines of service.

     

    The SPM also acts as a liaison to Aramark and the client and is responsible to collaborate with partnering with the site leaders to develop and implement strategic planning processes.  This position values diversity by working effectively with people from different viewpoints and backgrounds.

     

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Comprehensive knowledge of hospitality models
    • Experience working with healthcare food services and facility services on service models.
    • Extensive knowledge of project financial monitoring/tracking/reporting
    • Acts as liaison with Aramark and client to ensure plan is being adhered to and needs met.
    • Provides direction to FLM’s engaged in planning; develops and maintains implementation; reviews and updates to ensure standards meet expectations.
    • Reviews documents to ensure consistency with master plans, sector plans, programs, budgets and campus standards.
    • Makes regular observations regarding the condition implementation and recommends course correction and/or initiates improvement projects to ensure on target
    • Professional consultant contract administration
    • Works with the VPO and RDM and staff on all deliverables.
    • Coordination of project close-out activities
    • Manages and keeps up-to-date various details of project status and progress, reports out to Sr. Leaders including clients.
    • Develops and maintains department administrative procedures and reports.
    •  Build and direct high performing cross-functional teams and networks to exceed company expectations

    • Consistently complete quantitative and qualitative research to align with client needs

    • Regularly collaborate with internal partners and departments to comprehend and prioritize needs to translate strategic business concerns/needs into successful projects.

    • Responsible for implementing strategies that improve efficiency and performance metrics for client

     

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience:

    • Experience in a healthcare environment desirable
    • Minimum of 8-12 years of demonstrated, increased responsibility in providing leadership for a capital projects.
    • Academic planning and scenario development experience
    • Formal education in architecture, planning, engineering, or construction-related program is highly desirable

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong interpersonal skills and expertise in working with diverse groups of individuals and building partnerships.
    • Ability to assess/allocate personnel staffing needs across a variety of project types
    • Ability to establish priority needs in order to provide a high level of service
    • Must be an effective communicator, written and oral, capable of addressing large audiences including board and cabinet members; faculty, staff and students; professional constituents and the general public.
    • Exceptional judgment, integrity and discretion, and demonstrated ability to manage staff, think strategically, and delivery tactically.
    • Willing to travel 10-20%
