    Description

    Job Summary 

    Serves as point of contact for all activity related to sourcing, engaging, securing and on boarding labor to support account openings, seasonal ramp ups and other special events

     

    Key Responsibilities include:

    • Works with Hiring Managers to determine hiring needs and outline available resources
    • Travels to special event locations to support check-in, staffing, scheduling and general event support
    • Maintains event calendar and schedules kickoff calls 
    • Creates staffing event plans – outlines critical tasks and timelines related to sourcing, hiring and onboarding associates and NPO volunteers
    • Conducts labor market surveys and presents findings and recommendations to leadership
    • Sources, engages and secures Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) to fundraise at events
    • Obtains and submits all vetting paperwork for non-profit volunteers
    • Conducts post-event NPO and seasonal associate feedback surveys and presents findings to leadership
    • Drives innovation in staffing within the sourcing and hiring process through use of technology, social media, on demand apps and other available resources
    • Serves as liaison between myStaffing and Hiring Managers – monitors requisitions, sets up interviews, dispositions candidates, extends offers of employment
    • Monitors open requisitions, tracks trends, makes recommendations on increasing candidate flow
    • Builds pipeline of talent through researching and engaging community-based organizations, transitional programs, local job corps training programs and other resources within a defined area
    • Posts online employment advertisements and represents organization at recruitment events
    • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

    Scope:

    • Reports to Director of Human Resources
    • Ability to exercise independent judgement and make decisions that support the needs of the business and best interest of associates
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in an effective manner
    • Ability to maintain professional, service-oriented demeanor when dealing with internal and external guests
    • Ability to manage challenging situations with tact and diplomacy and communicate in a professional
      manner
    • Ability to build cohesive, results-based relationships with all levels of local and regional leadership

    Qualifications

    • Must be 18 year of age or above
    • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 1-3 years in a high volume Human Resources, staffing, scheduling or operations environment
      required
    • Proficiency in basic office software (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
    • Ability to work a flexible, event-based schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays, as required
