Performs a wide variety of tasks related to employee/payroll records including maintaining their assigned Profit Centers. This position will prepare, process, and maintain Payroll Standards and Compliance in executing tasks to accurately pay assigned employees. Leads the research and resolution of profit center and employee-related issues. Performs diverse tasks to meet Payroll weekly production timeframes. Assist with training as required.
Status and Scope:
•Flexibility to extend hours as required to meet the business demands
High school degree or equivalent required but some college a plus.
1+ years of payroll experience in processing payroll, data entry, taxes (multi-state), garnishments, and year-end processing using an automated payroll system.
Prior experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment required.
Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills, accuracy, attention to detail and an ability to work independently.
Must be focused on delivering quality customer outcomes.
