    Description

    Reporting to the Director - Field Support Services, the Field Support Manager will oversee and manage the work streams on Business Process and Standardization along with the continued development of PRIMA Web, Ariba and GFF. You will interact regularly with members of the Program Management Office, including the Vice President, Accounting. You will also interact regularly with members of the Business Units, various IT Teams as well as other members of the Field Support Team.

    The Manager will establish best practice work processes to identify opportunities to provide comprehensive support for the front line user across multiple interfaced platforms. This position is based in Philadelphia, PA.  

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead and promote an environment of frontline first
    • Assess the organization's ability to meet objectives and achieve expectations by evaluating efficiencies with the team.
    • Manage new service requests, changes requests, issues and disputes for the suite of systems (PRIMA Web, Ariba, & GFF).
    • Successfully execute projects to agreed time, scope, and quality including developing objectives and plans to deliver on the business case benefits, budget and timescales
    • Provide analytical support and utilize problem solving capabilities to generate standard or ad hoc reports and executive summaries.
    • Interact with other team members to understand full requirements of the system. Ensure system is designed intuitively for an FLM to use through on-going process and material enhancements.
    • Provide prioritization, guidance, insights, constraints and requirements to internal stakeholders to ensure technology strategies are aligned and support the LOB needs.
    • Develop and utilize best practice tools including standardization of project scorecards, trackers, RFX templates, KPI analytics reporting, development of project summaries, adoption of project management tools
    • Develop and improve change management and stakeholder relationship management processes to drive engagement and maximize program value
    • Provide a clear understanding of standard accounting practices at the frontline level.
    • Prepare accurate and timely reporting and forecasting of account deployment statistics.
    • Walk a frontline manager through the field financial process, including revenue and billing practices, client billing, customer billing, customer management, facilities billing and revenue accounting.
    • Communicate standard policies, forms and procedures for field financial operations.
    • Clearly express of what processes need to change; timing of entries, opening of periods, frequency of system refresh, sun setting reports, etc.

    Qualifications

    • The ability to effectively manage others through influence as well as with direct authority.
    • Creative and flexible in attitude and style to adapt to new situations in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.
    • The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA or MBA are desirable.
    • 5-7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience is required. Skills in supervision of daily operations including accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit and collection.
    • Strong analytical ability and spreadsheet modeling skills, along with a strong knowledge of accounting standards, practices and procedures are also required.
    • Excellent written and verbal skills and the ability to interface with multiple levels of management are essential.
    • Strong working knowledge of the current financial reporting processes. Also, a working knowledge of systems that are impacted by Global Field Financials, including PRIMA, Ariba, Oracle, and other various standard field systems, etc.

     

    EDUCATION:

     A Bachelor’s degree is required in Business Administration or a related field is required.   A MBA or Masters is a plus.
