Description

Position Summary.   The Data Management Analyst serves as a key contributor in all areas of the Spend Capture process. The associate ensures all supplier provided customer spend and spend-related data is imported into the company database(s) timely and accurately, maintain data integrity within the system, oversee distributor data file transmissions, determine appropriate resolutions with invalid data files, and provide support to distributors, HPSI data management team members, and Avendra’s data management team members as needed.

 

Position Reports to. Director, Data Management Operations & System Integrations

 

Position Responsibilities

 

  • Import supplier provided spend and non-spend related fee data into HPSI Software Suite
  • Propose new and innovative ways to increase volume and accuracy of file processing
  • Correspond with suppliers regarding file revisions as needed
  • Ensure timely receipt of supplier files
  • Achieve department spend collection timeliness goals
  • Follow-up with suppliers regarding past due files as needed to maximize reported volume and revenue
  • Maintain and improve upon data integrity
  • Analyze invalid data files to identify issues and determine appropriate resolution according to corporate policies and guidelines
  • Run queries and reports to analyze, identify issues, and research data files
  • Identify new and/or non-HPSI Member spend
  • Perform customer matching/mapping as needed
  • Notify HPSI sales team of non-member spend in their territories
  • Generate internal monthly reports for spend and admin fee month-end closing
  • Perform reconciliation of totals and check amounts
  • Distribute reports among HPSI teams as required
  • Coordinate HPSI Prudent Buyers Report data gathering, printing, and mailing
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental HPSI managers to ensure data accuracy and compliance by suppliers
  • Support technology integration projects i.e. “HPSI Onboarding to PURS”

Qualifications

Role Requirements

  • Strong PC skills with spreadsheet-based applications (i.e. MS Excel)
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Experience in Procurement a plus
  • Knowledge of SQL fundamentals preferred

Years of Relevant Experience.   3-5 years of experience

 

Education Requirements.   BS/BA in relevant field or equivalent years' experience
